Cultivation Plots

For urban farming, the city of Kajaani has got allotment plots for rent in the Kätönlahti, Soidinsuo and Huuhkajanvaara districts. Also, allotment plots in Otanmäki are rented through the Kajaani city website.  Rental starts as soon as the city is done with maintenance work on these areas. Gardening season ends by the end of September-mid October.  

Allotment plots are around 10x10m² in size. Seasonal rate is 12€/plot.  

By renting a plot, you agree to comply with the rental terms and conditions of allotment gardens (the link opens in a new tab). For reservation, you must fill in your name, street address and email. Payment is made through online banking. Reservations and payments can also be made at the Kajaani Info service point (the link opens in a new tab) at the City Hall.

Vimpelinlampi (Huuhkajanvaara)

  • 20 plots for rent.

For now Soidinsuo and Otanmäki plots are not available in webshop.
